Rosemar Farm welcomes riders of all levels and either Western or English disciplines, especially those interested in Reining or Western Pleasure!  Even before you schedule your first lesson, we invite you to stop by to watch a lesson--seeing is believing!

Whether you are sitting on a horse for the first time, getting back into riding, interested in showing at any level, or just looking to improve your skills, we have the knowledge to help you achieve better communication with your horse.  If not a boarder, you are welcome to trailer in or use one of our well educated horses.

Our lessons are private to ensure that each rider has the instructor's undivided attention both on the ground and in the saddle.  We will be able to identify whether the breakdown in communication is because of rider error or the horse's education.  If the horse needs education, we integrate your riding lesson with on-the-spot training to provide the best results in the shortest time.  What also sets us apart from other instructors is that we share the "why" along with the "how" so that you develop the gentle and clear communication essential to good riding in any discipline.  We want our riders to ask us questions!  We guarantee that we will make you a better rider.

indoor riding ring at Rosemar FarmLessons are $65/hour and up.  If you are interested in reining, be aware that sliding and spinning are addictive!  Tom will (jokingly) ask you to sign a waiver stating that you are aware of this fact before you start...
